Licensed Psychologist


I have over 20 years' experience, including graduate school training,  in providing therapy services for all ages.  I completed my undergraduate studies in Clinical Psychology in 1993 at San Jose State University while also conducting psychological research studies at Stanford University.  I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1997 at University of Nevada Reno and was recognized with a national award from the American Psychological Association for my Master's thesis.  I completed my Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology in 2000 at University of Nevada Reno with an internship at VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System.  


Throughout my education I have provided therapy services in a variety of settings including:  Suicide and Crisis Center; Outpatient community clinics in both rural and university settings; State of Nevada Children's Behavioral Services and Adolescent Clinic Services; State of Nevada Sierra Regional Center providing neuropsychological assessments; employee assistance program; inpatient and outpatient hospital settings; and primarily outpatient private-practice settings.


I have been an independent Licensed Psychologist in sole private practice in Reno since 2002.  I am qualified to work with all ages and psychological issues with specialties in treating anxiety and depression.
